The Univerza is not only robust and thick (especially in sizes 4 and 2), the hookpoint is extremely durable due to the method of chemical sharpening. This is more expensive than laser sharpening, but the hook will stay sharper for longer.
Our hook philosophy:We took a great amount of time. The main question: Teflon coated or not?
Many hooks from the biggest manufacturers have gone through our hands and have been thoroughly tested by our team members in the last months.
While we stuck to Teflon coated hooks in the beginning, we realized, that due to the heat treatment these hooks did not meet our quality standards.
Above all that our hooks are corrosion and saltwater resistant.
